Hedge Maintenance

Hedge trimmer resting in the top of a large conifer hedge

Hedges are a lovely feature to a garden, but left to their own devices can become out of hand and unsightly. Trimming of a hedge should be done once a year to ensure that they are kept neat and tidy. A hedge that has been neglected can be brought back in order, reducing the height and bringing in the sides to keep it in check.
